How Gigoo handles LPO approval

Purchase approval above an amount you set. Operations asks suppliers for prices with an RFQ; above the approval amount the order waits for the Owner before it becomes a Local Purchase Order.

The rule

  • The Owner sets it once: LPOs need approval above an amount, and the amount (AED 10,000.00 with VAT by default).
  • Below the amount, a confirmed RFQ becomes an LPO at once.
  • At or above it, the order reads To Approve and keeps its RFQ number.
  • The Owner can give the permission Approve LPOs over the approval amount to another user.

Approving an order

  • The approver gets a to-do with the amount and the vendor.
  • Open the order from the to-do or from LPOs to Approve, check the lines and click Approve Order.
  • The order takes its LPO number (LPO/2026/0002) and keeps the RFQ number, so you can search by either.
  • A goods-received note is made for the Store at once.
