Walkthroughs on the real screens

No video to load: the real screens, the field outlined and the value typed in. Play each one, or step through at your own pace.

Create and send a quotation

Pick the customer and the products; prices, VAT and totals fill in. The customer gets a PDF and a link to view and sign it online.

Go to Operations › Sales › Quotations.

Then Sales.

Then Quotations.

Click New.

Pick the Customer. As Sales, you see only your own customers.

Add a line: click Add a product.

Pick the Product. The unit price comes from the product or the customer's price list.

Type the Quantity. VAT is added per line.

Add the next line the same way.

Pick the Product.

Type the Quantity. A line discount goes in Disc. %; a discount on the whole quotation uses the Discount button.

Check the totals: untaxed amount, VAT and total.

Click Save. The quotation takes its number, e.g. QT/2026/0001.

The quotation now has its QT number.

To send it, click Send.

Check the e-mail. The customer gets the quotation as a PDF and a link to view and sign it online. Then click Send.

Use the dashboards

Four dashboards: management, operations, finance and CRM, with insights in plain sentences.

Open a dashboard from its menu. It opens on Analysis.

In the filter bar, choose the year, then a month or quarter if you want.

To compare, choose Last year or Previous period.

Key figures show the change against the comparison. Click any figure, bar or line to open the records behind it.

Click Clear filters to start again, or Refresh to update the figures.

Find your way

Home, the sidebar and the top menu: where every screen is.

After you sign in, Gigoo opens Home: your apps, and My activities with the to-dos and calls assigned to you.

The sidebar on the left lists your apps, their sections and screens, each only for the roles that use it.

Or open the app, its section and the screen: here Operations › Sales › Quotations.

Then Sales.

Then Quotations.

Click your name or picture at the top right to open the user menu.

The user menu: Help & Support, Shortcuts, My Expenses, Switch to top menu, My Preferences, Log out.

Type part of a screen's name in Find a menu to jump to it.

Give a customer a discount

Money off the whole quotation, written into each line's Disc. %.

Go to Operations › Sales › Quotations.

Then Sales.

Then Quotations.

Click New.

Pick the Customer.

Add the lines.

Pick the Product.

Type the Quantity. A discount on one line goes in its Disc. % column.

Add the next line the same way.

Pick the Product.

Type the Quantity.

Click Save.

Open the quotation, order or draft invoice and click Discount.

In the Discount box, choose Amount or %.

Type the Amount (e.g. 150) or the Percentage (e.g. 10). Lines it is spread over shows the total it is shared by.

Click Apply. Gigoo writes the discount into each line's Disc. %, shared by the lines' values.

Check the lines and the total. Above the limit: without Approve discounts, ask the Owner, or a user with the permission, to confirm the order.

Prepare the VAT 201 return

The return in the FTA's VAT 201 boxes, ready to enter in EmaraTax.

Go to Finance › MIS Reports › Tax › VAT 201 Return.

Then MIS Reports.

Then Tax.

Then VAT 201 Return.

Open the return of the period. Use the filters Not filed, Filed or Overdue to find it; if it is not there, click New.

Click Refresh Figures. Gigoo works the boxes out again from the posted invoices, bills and entries.

Read the yellow box Before filing, please review: and click a link to open the items behind it. Fix what needs fixing, then Refresh Figures again.

Check the Boxes tab. The list icon at the end of a line shows what is in that box.

Click View to open the return in the layout of the EmaraTax form, and print it. Enter the figures in EmaraTax and submit.

Back on the return, click Mark as Filed, check Filed on, type the FTA reference and keep Lock the period for VAT ticked.

Receive a post-dated cheque

Record a customer's cheque against the invoices it pays, until it can be deposited.

Go to Finance › Transactions › Receivables › PDC Received.

Then Transactions.

Then Receivables.

Then PDC Received.

Click New.

Choose the Customer.

In Invoices, pick the invoices this cheque pays. The Amount fills in from what is still due on them.

Enter the Cheque No.

Enter the Bank the cheque is drawn on (the customer's bank) and the Branch.

Enter the Cheque Date printed on the cheque. Received on is today; change it if you received the cheque earlier.

Click Receive Cheque.

If Ask before posting is on, confirm the box. The cheque takes its number, e.g. PDCR/2026/0001, and reads On hand.
